Hiphop Beats. ‘The visual strategy is be literal and really push it, and personify things, and give inanimate objects human qualities.’ A piece that is heavily inspired by music beats and lyrics—a visual punch to translate multi-cultural influences into garment prints and visual displays.
The design strategy involves intricate visuals that will make viewers do a double take. And a critical application and collaboration of the clients’ story to visually understand the target–audience.’
The process includes visually merging things, bringing multiple different elements, images and objects together to make a new one.

Federation Square. ‘The concept of interpreting a cultural and historical awareness. The visual strategy is the execution of a mixed–media design applications; a combination of creativity, graphics, research and theory and conceptual thinking.’The iconic characteristics of the building were signified by the symbols that were deconstructed by complexity that is visually translucent to represent a deeper embodiment of the historic context and significance of the landmark.
The ambiguity of the image is interpreted historically to persuade its interpreter of a timeless confluence of a visual and linguistic historic shift of the landmark. A visual language that is encoded with the persuasive force of cultural and political meaning.

The visual structure and interpretation is based on an understanding of the cultural and depicted representation. And the interrelations between image, experience, expression and content that are visually reconstructed and reinforced by a mixture of basic shapes and elements.
The visual approach resulted to a clash and cohesive symbolic expressions of multiculturalism; that is visually translated to describe a resemblance and juxtaposition of the historical landmark; as a form of socialised knowledge and understanding of the notions of cultural history.

Neonic Typeface Suite. ‘A personal piece that strategically incorporates the ways of seeing and knowledge of typographic fundamentals and concepts. The display typeface is inspired by a ‘moving action’ always on the go; and restless.Or a‘neon’ inspired type that dims the night as it glows bright—a nostalgic and somehow futuristic emphasis of the graphic element of lines.
The typeface is a contrast between the relaxed and the typographical line of an indefinite elements of movement. The challenge in this piece is to reduce the aesthetics and simply making reading simple for the viewer. But retaining its personality in a form which is technically functional and appropriate for the concept.

The size and measurements of its anatomy, spacing, and leading are based from a relative and absolute measurements; that are entirely based on a freeform and freestyle measurements.
The x-height were measured visually by the eye and the optical overshoots of the baseline grid where overemphasised for optical alignment.

The installable typeface is available in Truetype, Monotype and Linotype versions.

The Underground. ‘The visual approach explores a complex relationship between typography and images, blending an abstract, rational, playful and bold elements.’   The foundation of the idea and part of the legal contracts is to keep the creators and collaborators anonymous and ambiguous.
This was achieved through an image that does not reveal the true identities of the artists.
The concept is represented through design as a communication that is a lot more than a language and what is visible. It is a dissemination of ideas and vision that is translated ambiguously.

Deux Ouvrages. A typeface that focused on the complexity of uppercase letterforms. That is designed to converse the standards of form and function.’
The simple arrangement of the functionality of the typeface is technically based from a relative and absolute measurement. And the division of laws of form and arrangement were modified to produce a simple form as as best as possible.
It is absolute in measurement with fixed values within the apex, ascenders and descenders. The relative measurements of space are based from the anatomy of the base type that are linked to the vertex, leg and the ear of the letters. And the leading is also based on the width of the stem and spine of the last letter.
The installable typeface is available in Truetype, Monotype and Linotype versions.

The Lyrical. ‘The strategic approach is an interpretation of pop art and culture inspired by music with a visual soul; and embracing a cultural force driven by a mass-market aesthetic.’The graphic represents as part of the arbitrary decorative frame of the product and representation. The random shapes and patterns are interstitial sequence to create an abstract sense of space, scale and movement.
These are correlated to the colours that are vibrant and contemporary in a sense of creating a packaging—but for a garment print by re-interpreting a music collection compilation.
The visual storytelling really lives in the mind of the listeners, and the elements and shapes are for the audience to interpret. These create an abstract and playful interpretation of the music composition.
